Lighthouse School is a Special School formerly known as Singapore School for the Visually Handicapped. It now provides special education to children with visual impairment and children with hearing impairment as well as children with autism.

In providing special education to visually-impaired and hearing-impaired children as well as ASD children, Lighthouse School has four main educational programmes, namely:-

1. A Mainstream Curriculum Programme for the Visually-Impaired Children
2. A Mainstream Curriculum Programme for the Hearing-Impaired Children
3. The Special Programme
